One man probably learned a lesson he will never forget after a chance encounter with Ava DuVernay. DuVernay tweeted about an incident that occurred while she was waiting for her train. Apparently complete strangers still think it’s ok to touch a woman’s hair without their permission. Take a look at the tweets below.

One of these days these space invaders are going to touch the wrong person’s hair and get their hands chopped off.

The level of entitlement is mind-blowing. Leave it to a white man to touch a black woman’s hair and then have the nerve to act offended and angry. Let’s be real – we all know only a white dude would do this and be so stupid as to ask, “Is this racial?” They can’t handle having their privilege checked for an instant – especially not when it comes to black bodies. Go jump off a bridge, you trashbag.

Maybe I’m late to the bus on this. People just walk up to women and touch their hair? What kind of craziness is that?! Ummmmm…I’ve never had the urge to do that. Not only is that rude. It’s just weird.

That’s like hugging a random stranger for nothing. People really need to get themselves in check.
