It looks like Paula Deen hasn’t learned her lesson. After losing her popular show and being dropped by her sponsors for using the n-word, the former Food Network star recently tweeted a picture of her son Bobby in brownface.

The photo showed the pair dressed up as Lucy and Ricky Ricardo from the classic sitcom I Love Lucy.

The tweet, with the caption “Lucyyyyyyy! You got a lot of esplainin’ to do!” showed Deen in a bright red wig and her son Bobby painted decidedly brown to look like Lucille Ball’s Cuban ex-husband Desi Arnaz.

Sensing the error of her ways, Deen quickly deleted the tweet, but the Internet never forgets, and it was shared widely.

Deen’s been trying to make a comeback since her show was pulled in 2013, and according to a spokeswoman, this photo was from the Halloween episode of “Paula’s Best Dishes,” which aired in 2011.

Of course, Twitter had a field day with the photo.

According to Deen’s people, the photo was pulled from social media and the person responsible for sharing it was fired.

“As such, Paula Deen Ventures has terminated their relationship with this Social Media Manager,” the spokeswoman said.

Too bad they couldn’t fire the person who came up with the brownface idea in the first place.

Nobody should be surprised because her tearful apology was just an apology for image since she didn’t want to hurt her and her family’s pockets. People should take this as a lesson, “saying I am sorry” doesn’t eradicate racism or help people to overcome their racists views.

Ricky Ricardo was as light as Lucy. So this skit definitely was dumb.
