There’s an unsettling rumor going around about Michael B. Jordan and his latest interview with GQ isn’t exactly doing much to discredit stories that the actor most of us came to love for playing Oscar Grant in the racially charged film Fruitvale Station is team #AllLivesMatter.

The 28-year-old reportedly took to Snapchat Tuesday night using the hashatag that just got Nia Long in trouble a couple of weeks ago. Since the social media platform deletes its post after 24 hours, proof of said rumors is dismal, but what does live on is Jordan’s feature with GQ magazine in which he confirmed he’s at least team #NewNegroColorblind. Speaking on being linked to Kendall Jenner following this year’s Met Gala and the subsequent side-eyes that followed, Jordan said:

“It’s the world we live in. They see white and black. I don’t.  A lot of black fans were feeling like, ‘Oh, my God, he should have been with a black woman’ and that whole thing. I get it, but on the other hand it’s, like, relax. You know – it’s 2015. It’s okay! People can like one another, not necessarily from the same history or culture or whatever the f— it is.”

While Jordan went on to say he isn’t romantically involved with Jenner, which is neither here nor there though we pray he doesn’t get sucked up in the Kardashian machine, the young star ruffled a few feathers again when, in the course of explaining his current dating situation, he dropped the f-word that sends shutters down many a woman’s spine: “females”

“I try and be focused. I told myself at a young age that I would sacrifice all my twenties to my work. I’m 28. I’ve got a year and a half left. I understand what females want and need, you know. I’m good at that. I don’t know if I’m the guy to give it to them right now. I’m emotionally unavailable. Until I find something that’s so undeniable that I can’t help myself.”

It’s for all of the reasons above that Michael B. Jordan is trending as everyone tries to figure out his connection with #AllLivesMatter, explain why the use of #WomenVsFemalesMatters and uncover what this new type of Black Hollywood star that pretends to not know racism exists after playing in a movie about one of the biggest race matters in recent history is all about. Hence the tweets below.

We’ll keep checking to see if Jordan clears any of these matters up. But in the meantime is he still bae to you or are you now looking at him like, bruh?

I find this to be tragic, and yet I am not surprised. Although, I am confused as how he could portray the life of Oscar Grant (which is very RECENT history) and yet be so utterly confused.

As for all lives matter, of course they do. But the mere fact that Black lives matter had to be created in the first place is a tragic sign of the times. A sign this very talented young man has apparently not read, an if he has is incapable of understanding.

Although, I feel this “I don’t see color”, thing is a lead up to to his true dating preference. Now let me be straight, I don’t care who he dates, but do be man enough and honest enough to admit it!
