As a lot of the east coast prepared for a blizzard, one Maryland couple was preparing to make the memories last with an engagement photo shoot.

27-year-old Felicia Sam and 31-year-old David Nartey bared the weather and drove 40 minutes to Fort Meade to do their engagement photoshoot, according to ABC News,

“We had wanted to do a snow photo shoot for a long time,” Sam, 27, told ABC. “So any opportunity that presented itself, we were just going to take it. I heard on the news that there was going to be a blizzard so I said surely there’ll be snow. I called the photographer [Dotun Ayodeji] and said, ‘Are you up for it?’ And he said, ‘Oh my God, you’re reading my mind.’”

Once their photos were posted online, the immediately went viral!

With their backdrop being 29 inches of white snow, the couple says they couldn’t be any more happier. Well that’s until they have to dig their cars out!

“We always wanted to do a shoot in the snow,” Sam told BuzzFeed. “I like the white background, it’s so different.”

For that weather I’d break of the engagement. I’m Canadian, I have no truck with these shenanigans.

They truly love each other a lot to do this. They care for each other in a great way and that is what matters at the end of the day. It takes a real determination for the couple to make pictures like this in such a blizzard. I do wish a great marriage for the both of them after they become husband and wife. Love is powerful and as other people have mentioned there, Black Love is so Beautiful.
