Imagine being a fan of Beyoncé, and seeing her face pop up on your FaceTime screen. Well that’s exactly what happened to Ebony Banks, a Houston high school senior battling stage IV cancer.
Banks’ classmates started a hashtag, that obviously got Beyonce’s attention, because they wanted to grant their classmate a wish. And as the saying goes, “Wishes do come true.”

“I love you, Beyoncé,” Banks, whose nickname is Ebob, can be heard saying.
“I love you, too,” Beyonce responded.
According to a Houston news station, Banks has spent much of her senior year as a patient at Houston’s MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Alief Hastings High School held an early graduation ceremony for her at the hospital.
